Tonight I guess we passed yet another parenting milestone. We left the boys home for about three hours while we went out to dinner with my BFF and her beau. We had left them together for about an hour before, but it was an early fall evening, so it wasn't dark. And, of course, Justin has been staying home by himself for awhile. Mostly during the day, but sometimes in the evening.
Hubby and I have talked about doing dinner and a movie once a month, and tonight was a good test... One they passed with flying colors. :-)
They played knee hockey, watched the Caps game, ate spaghetti, and who knows what else. They didn't kill each other or the dog, and the house was intact when we got home. And Hubby and I had a great time catching up with our great friends. Win-win!
