So last night on the news, I saw that some 17-year-old kid from Chambersburg, PA (presumably a Penguins fan) has been accused of posting a death threat against Alexander Ovechkin to a web bulletin board. It is credible enough that law enforcement is involved and Ovechkin and the Capitals have additional security surrounding them now in Pittsburgh.
Seriously?!
Some kid is willing to threaten to kill Ovechkin and go to jail for it (that's what he said) so the Penguins potentially have a better chance at winning a playoff series? He's willing to potentially ruin his future so the Penguins POTENTIALLY have a better chance at winning a playoff series?
Dude. CHILL OUT. I know people are passionate about the sports teams they follow. I needn't look much further than my own house to see that. But at the end of the day, it's just a game.
It's not life and death.
